Festival of Rescue 2023: Challenge Venues

Venue: Various locations within Lincolnshire County

The festival in 2023 will take place in the historic city of Lincoln. This will be the second time that Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have hosted the prestigious UKRO event, having been the hosts for the 2012 national challenges where the water rescue challenge was introduced for the first time.

Locations: The Engine Shed

Challenges: opening and closing ceremonies

Locations: The Lawn Car Park, Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Cathedral, Westgate Water Tower, Exchequer Gate

Challenges: extrication, trauma, cadet, rope, canine

Events: sponsors/trade area, community village, education area

Locations: Brayford Waterfront

Challenges: water rescue

Locations: Newark Trent Weir

Challenges: swift water rescue
